Attacked cat
Acute transport of a cat attacked by two dogs that broke through a poorly secured fence and attacked her cat on the owner's property. The cat suffered bruises and bite wounds so severe that the abdominal wall was breached and the intestines were exposed under the skin. The clinic required primary stabilisation and acute surgery, which the cat came through well.
Female dog with uterine inflammation
Transport of a 7-year-old female dog with suspected pyometra, which was subsequently confirmed. Standard procedures were carried out at the clinic — cannulation, blood work, infusion before surgery. The dog was successfully operated on and taken home by a happy owner.
Cat that fell from a window
Acute call-out to a cat that fell from a 6th-floor window. The injured patient in shock was given on-site thermal comfort, infusion therapy and pain medication. After transport to the clinic, an X-ray revealed a "separated" knee joint of the left hind leg, minor abrasions and a bitten tongue. The patient was stabilised and after treatment was returned to the owners.
Sick cat
We were recently called to a sick cat that showed clear signs of illness. The cat had lost appetite, was apathetic and seemed tired. After thorough examination it was found that she had a respiratory infection and fever. We administered appropriate treatment, including antibiotics and supportive therapy. We informed the owner about the next steps and possible follow-up checks. Within a few days her condition improved significantly.
